The ESCC is running two competitions to find the “ESCC Cat of The Year”.

A Shield and Certificate will be awarded to the winning cats in both Competitions and these will be presented to the winners at the 2008 show.

The competition is open to all cats – both pedigree and non-pedigree – belonging to fully paid-up members of the club. The competition will run from the 17th June 2007 and will close on the entry closing date of our GCCF show in 2008.

Points will be awarded as follows:

UK Grand/IMP Grand/GR/PR/Open 1st all 5 Points
Imp Res/ GR/PR RES/ Open 2nd/BOB all 3Points
BOV/BIS both 10 Points.

Points may be collected on wins at all GCCF shows throughout the year. An up-to-date Results Table will be posted on the club’s website with regular updates and published in “Our Cats.”

Results will be verified via “Our Cats”.

This year we will be running a second competition for all Non-GCCF Shows (i.e. Fife, Fb and others). The competition is open to all cats – both Pedigree and Non-Pedigree – belonging to a fully paid up Member of the club. The competition will run from 17th June 2007 and will close on entry closing date of our GCCF show in 2008.

Points will be awarded as follows.

P of H = Prize of Honour = 6 points
EC = European Champion/Premier = 5 points
GIC = Grand International Champion/Premier = 4 points
IC = International Champion/Premier = 3 points
C = Champion/ Premier = 2 points
EX1 ( Excellent 1 ) = 2 point
EX2 ( Excellent 2 ) = 1 point
BIV = Best in Variety = 3 points
NOM = Nominated = 1 point
Best Op Sex = 3 points
Best N,A,K in Cat = 5 points
Best Cat In Show = 10 points
